Acapulco Half-day Tours

Our guided tour was very informative, especially when it came to the history of Acapulco. Our guide shared a lot of interesting information, and we stopped at several beautiful locations with amazing views that were perfect for taking pictures.We also got to see the famous Acapulco cliff divers. Personally, I didn’t think the cliff diving was anything too special to watch, but it was still nice to experience something Acapulco is well known for.We also visited a few historic hotels and learned more about their history and significance to the city. Overall, it was a nice way to see Acapulco, learn about its history, and visit some beautiful spots around the city.

Our driver was incredibly friendly, professional, and informative throughout the entire trip. He made us feel comfortable from the start and shared interesting facts along the way. We especially appreciated that he never made us feel like a bother when we asked him to take photos for us—he was more than happy to help. His positive attitude and excellent customer service made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Tour guide was brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. He wss very informative and brought us to many interesting places. Thd views of the bay werd spectacular!

It was a great tour. Alex was an excellent guide. We saw a lot of Acapulco. The cliff divers were awesome, and our lunch was delicious.

The view was amazing and front row. 3 course meal with many choices. During the show we were in awe of the divers.

We did the evening dinner and diving show. Food was excellent and watch the diver 3 times ( top of each hour). Cost included transportation, the diver show dinner and 2 drinks.

The best 2026 guides and tour !

Our tour guide Carlos curated the perfect tour for our family of 5- 3 kids ages 6-12. He had a welcome sign for us and was waiting right when we exited. Great communication with us before to make sure of flight details. He had a big suburban/expedition truck that fit all 5 of my family and luggage just fine and took us on a tour to release baby sea turtles on the beach. It was a great educational moment and the kids favorite part. After we went to the crocodile farm more in the remote/village area of Acapulco. We got to see huge crocodiles and hold a baby one! We ate some local ice cream at the farm called paletas and it was so tasty! After, we went to a local restaurant that was on the river and had local fresh made food including the fish that was caught that morning! After lunch, we went on a boat ride right out of the restaurant and got to see many local birds and herons. What a sight! And spoiled with a fresh mud facial from the waters. Hands down the best tour and tour guide! Thank you so much Carlos for your hospitality!

Got a good general overview of the city. Pay the extra for the drink and show as worth it otherwise standing in the open sun to see the divers.

Baldo was a fabulous tour guide in Acapulco. We spent the morning and afternoon learning about the history of this once glitz and glamour city, seeing the Acapulco Beverly Hills where JFK and Liz Taylor, John Wayne… frequently visited and then witnessed the infamous cliff divers from a premier table overlooking the cliffs while we ate lunch. There were 7 of us all different levels of ability and he accommodated us all. Cold waters upon arrival. A generous soul. His van was comfortable. His English was perfect and we loved learning and getting the lay of the land. Tourism has really taken a hit since the hurricane a few years ago. We felt very safe overall. This tour was perfect. Jesus met us at the cruise port and the four of us piled into the minivan to start our tour. Alex was our driver and took pictures during the tour. We received a video of our trip, by email, to remember all the sights we visited. We visited the Chapel of Peace, scenic overlook of the city, and the cliff divers. We took the suggestion to get a table at the restaurant that overlooks the cliff and enjoyed the divers while seated in the shade with drinks in hand. Traffic was heavy, but in our vehicle, we were able to take back roads everywhere. Skip the cruise boat excursion with 60 of your closest friends and long waits--this private tour is worth it! Yes, the hurricane damage is still apparent, but did not detract from our experience. Thanks to Jesus and Alex for a great tour.

Rudy was an excellent guide. He took his places that the cruise tour never got to see. The cliff divers were amazing and we would recommend the tour.

Came on time to pick me up for the city tour Took me to the beautiful places in Acapulco Helped with the local people as my spanish is not good. Very Nice person. I highly recommend.
